Brooke's Barks & Recreation

Mr. Bean was a rescue with As Good As Gold- Golden Retriever Rescue of Illinois.  Bean had a hard life prior to entering the rescue and learned some not-so-nice behaviors. He needed to be rehabbed before he could be adopted and ended up doing his rehabilitation with Brooke. Brooke saw his gentle but unique personality, and it wasn’t too long after working with him that she decided to adopt him. After his adoption and rehab, Bean became the perfect companion and was living his best life with his new family! A once fearful, aggressive dog turned into a wonderful, spunky companion that could relax and enjoy life. Unfortunately, a year later he passed suddenly due to stomach cancer. BBR’s treat bar is dedicated to Mr. Bean, a sweet soul that was taken too soon but will always be loved.
